SCONES

Scones , a british baked food. The first time I had scones was in London and I really loved it. Often eaten with Jam and cream. The Sweetness is very mild and goes well with a cup of tea.
Ingredients:
2 Cups Flour
2 Heaped Tsp Baking Powder
2 tbsp of Powdered Sugar
100 gms butter
1/4 Cup Milk
Method:
In a large bowl or plate, add the flour, baking powder and sugar. Mix well so that everything is incorporated.
Add the butter and rub with the flour until a sand like texture is formed.
Add milk and form a soft dough. Do not over mix.
Keep the dough in the refrigerator for 20 – 30 minutes.
Sprinkle some flour in a surface and roll out the dough until 1 – 2 inch thickness.
Cut out circles with a cookie cutter and place it in the tray, roll out the remaining dough and cut out circles again.
Brush the scones with milk and bake it for 20-30 minutes at 200° C.
Serve it with cream and Jam.
